Organizer of the competition \u2013 Zdru\u017eenie prvov\u00fdrobcov a spracovate\u013eov surov\u00edn na v\u00fdrobu liehu, v\u00fdrobcov liehu a destil\u00e1tov, ako aj \u010fal\u0161\u00edch potravin\u00e1rskych komod\u00edt zo Spi\u0161a (hereinafter the \u201eZdru\u017eenie Spi\u0161), and the co-organizer \u2013Slovensk\u00fd R\u00e1d rytierov destil\u00e1tov SK o.z., offers the opportunity to alcohol distilleries, cultivating distilleries and natural persons to present their products and to compare them to distillates from various regions and countries, taking in account various regional and traditional distillation aspects.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Distillates will be evaluated by the international professional jury comprising the top Slovak, Czech and Moravian tasters, and those from other European countries.<\/p>\n

Awarded samples in particular groups and categories will move up to a narrower selection of distillates that will be available to evaluation by participants for purpose of amateur evaluation.<\/p>\n

Distillates are evaluated by sensory analysis (evaluation by senses), using 100 – point system. <\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The following qualifications are assigned to the evaluated properties, separate per each distillate: excellent, very good, good, acceptable, unacceptable.<\/p>\n

These are quantified by assignment of points in the evaluation table so as overall mark could serve to the comparison of distillates within the competition. The distillate with top rating in all evaluated parameters can reach 100 points.<\/p>\n

Hypothetical zero rating (40 points) will result in the elimination of a wholly unacceptable distillate.
Resulting rating of a distillate by the jury represents a weighted average of all jurors\u00b4 marks following the elimination of the values on both ends.<\/p>\n

Organizer of the competition shall archive the rating sheets from all jurors for at least two years from the competition date in the form of printed summary signed by professional sponsor of the competition, chairmen of the jury or particular jurors, respectively.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
